Trail on Trail

Trails laid by a snowmobile, then followed by skiers and dogs, then snowshoers, crisscrossed by the odd rabbit and other unidentified critters. It all looks quite straightforward until you step off the trail and realize just how much snow we've received this year. Needless to say, I kept to the trail with my snowshoes ON.

Wonderful capture! I wished for a pair of snowshoes at my f-i-l's place in Kingston last week...we were hip deep in a couple of spots!
