I haven't posted a pic of a mourning dove in a while so here's a pic of one of many who visit the Railing Diner regularly.
A couple of days ago, we stopped on a curvy, hilly section of road and took some quick pics through the moon roof of a far-away bird looking down at the road. We couldn't make out what it was and didn't have time to hang around with traffic probably coming along behind us any second. Was it some kind of hawk? Nope - when we got home and checked out the pics on the computer we saw a mourning dove! Haha! Different to see them from underneath!
Great shot with terrific lighting - that's why we have the moon roof, too - for shooting pictures! Been known to go down a curvy mountain road in Colorado with my upper torso out the top (Bill driving) shooting pictures - wonder what the car behind me is thinking?
Great pov
