Story Time At The Park

Provincial parks around here offer fun [and educational] activities for kids all summer long. In this case it's a hands on experience after a story about rat snakes. This is a busy pic but one for the memory books for me as both granddaughters eagerly reached for and held the snake for as long as they could get away with, setting the tone for the others in the group who were a bit less enthusiastic at first. lol

Love this, I do like it when people are not afraid of harmless snakes. I had a pet one for a while when I was in elementary school. Looking back, I am glad he escaped, as he should never have been in captivity. Good for your granddaughters, they are setting a great example.
