So here we are on the first morning after arriving in ... have you guessed? .... Beijing China! This is the lobby of the Loong Palace Hotel and Resort --- and a palace it was!
Our group of 28 is gathered bottom right near the door, waiting for our bus to pick us up for day 1 of adventures. The long counter for serving guests is out of sight on the left. The vantage point for this pic was an arched stair case that matched the one off in the distance to the left.
