What a GREAT walk we had on the Great Wall of China! Visibility was poor at the beginning. You can just make out the wall slipping into the mist and hills off to the right.

It was built in different areas by different states/dynasties to protect different territorial borders. The wall is 21,196.18 km (13,170.7 mi) long."
A young friend down the street posted a very similar shot on her FB page about 2 months ago when she got to China. I would love to see this. Hers, too, was shrouded in mist. Said it was quite an experience. (She's doing a semester in China). Amazing shots from that area. Love the long view you got here.
