After getting off the high speed train in Wuhan, we boarded a bus and headed to Jingzhou. The views were mostly of farmland interspersed with large square'ish ponds, presumably man-made. Somebody said they were for fishing [fish farming?]. It certainly was food for thought when noticing 'China' as the country of origin on some packs of frozen food back home.
