I hadn't heard of girl dolls until just before Christmas. That's when one of our granddaughters first mentioned them. Both of them ended up getting a Maplelea doll complete with some outfits for Christmas. As they poured over the catalogue that came in the box, it became apparent they were more interested in the accessories than the clothes, hence a follow-on gift a few weeks later of tents and sleeping beds.
