Hockey and shovelling carried on throughout the afternoon and at the same time, the dogs would drop a ball onto the ice surface and wait patiently for someone to come along and flip it back for them to chase. The retriever on the left in this pic was on his toes all afternoon long, never taking his eyes off the ball!
