We finally got back to our walks in the woods, after a few of weeks of hunting season or heavy rain kept us off track. In this pic, we are discussing how a dead dew worm came to be laying frozen on top of the snow. lol
@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana! They're worms that should be a few feet underground this time of year! The one we saw was maybe stored by a bird to eat later, but then fell out of it's storage spot??? Just a guess! In warmer weather, kids use them on their fishing hooks to catch little fish. I think they're native to Europe. Many people complain about them destroying habitat.
