This is my friend who I´ve known pretty much all my life. She currently lives on the other side of the world and is just visiting Finland. I took other pics of her but somehow I liked this one best, for it being kind of candid shot perhaps. Actually it´s just a test shot to get camera settings right so I had to crop it a bit. She said I can use any pics of her for my project, so I will use this as my diary entry for the day cos this pic says it all, all the important things of my day; wine with a friend at warm summer night.
Your friend is beautiful! I love the warm colors of this photo. I think they reflect the warmth of your friendship! I hope you thoroughly enjoy the time spent with her!
Great candid, really liking the Finnish summer night -feel! Since she was not camera shy, you should've asked her to pose for you? Couple more glasses of wine to loosen up the mood, you know... :)
@janim Yes it´s the golden hour that provides this fantastic warm light, which reminds me of Greece or something. And yes, we made plans for the next week before she leaves back to Melbourne, she asked me to take pics of her children and of course I would take pics of her too but have to see if we can arrange it cos she´s leaving already next week. But why would I need to get her drunk and on loose mood, what kind of pics you think I would take...?!
She is gorgeous.. I actually like her pose! She carries it graciously! How fun for your friend to visit! And she doesn't mind having her pix taken... How cool is that ! She is comfortable with herself and it shows in this shot! FAV!
