I´m a little late with this upload I know and this really needs no comments.
My get push challenge by @jyokota was street photography - obviously not my kind of thing at all but as I find it important to try all kind of things, I went to the streets of Turku with the camera anyway. Yes I know there is lot more in street photography than simply shooting people walking on streets. The thing is that Turku is very boring city and I´m so bad at this stuff, so all that I found was just that; people walking on streets. I really could not find any stories within the limited time I had. Even thou I was unable to met my challenge, this was very educational. So thank you @jyokota for challenging me to do this.
Turku might be boring to you but most of us don't know what it's like, so we'd enjoy seeing anything different. It looks like a nice walk by the water, but I guess too cold now for anyone to sit on a bench or linger there.
I agree with what Ariel says. I am very fascinated by the towns where other people live. I love the POV of this and the processing! Thanks for showing us a little glimpse of your area!
hahahaha yeah Turku is not New York :) I like the timing of the strides, and there is a nice use of leading lines. You can get good street shots in Turku too, just keep practising!
You may perhaps feel that it doesn't need comments, but with such beautiful, strong lines and bright light, I cannot just pass by! Great shot and well processed!
This is great! I really like it because it conveys a mood and establishes a sense of place. Processing is perfect for expressing a sense of time. Well done!
