Grey nothingness

Today the weather was back to normal which here in Finland at this time of the year means pretty much this -grey and depressing.

I like the use of negative space. The b&w enhances the bleakness of the scene.

@salza Actually there´s less need to b/w than one would expect, the sky really is very grey. This was the "sunrise" this morning.

@maggiemae Hah, it is what it is. There ´s no midnight sun at this time of the year, far from it cos as a contrast to our long summer days and light nights our winter is dark and gloomy.

They say here in the States that Oregon and Washington State also have a tremendous amount of rain and fog, so you'd better like it if you're going to live there. I guess we were made to enjoy sunshine and it's beneficial to our skin and psyche- so this is a hard time of year for you! But the picture really does bring that to light.
