My sis and I have this tradition to go on these 23h cruises twice a year simply just to relax. We always go in the middle of week to avoid crowds and to have the ship to ourselves -well there are bound to be few hundreds of people there but they fit in to a big ship very well and the ship does not feel crowded at all. And the best part is that since we wake up early, we usually have the spa all to ourselves as we did this time too. It was a wonderful trip in every way and on top of everything the sun was shining almost from the clear blue sky - a very rare sight here at this time of the year! It couldn´t have been more perfect day to enjoy couple of glasses of sparkling wine between sauna and jacuzzi. Definitely a day to remember!
You have to do something to lift the gloom. We have had weeks of greyness... sky sea land all the same... storms with hardly a break, very strong winds and a huge amount of rain...it is very depressing. Not sure about a cruise though! I like the pic.
