The mood seems totally different here. The colour version gives the feeling of warmth and comfort whereas this one is more like the calm after the storm.

It sure does feel different. I'm a fan of the colour version.

This one is much more pleasing to my eyes... I can dwell on it and look; can't do that with the red one. Red especially pulls the eye then stops it going further

so lovely.

Both are unique in their way - love them!

One photo evoking two different feelings. The colour version has a lot of energy to it, I think, whereas this one seems more still and tranquil. It could almost be bright moonlight too. A very interesting exercise and a beautiful capture.

So soothing!!

IMHO this is much more striking in B&W.
