Ancestry

Spent some time today looking through some old family photos. These are of my Great Grandfather Reginald Clover and his brother. Sadly Reginald was killed in the early days of the war on HMS Aboukir.

Aboukir was sunk by the German submarine U-9, together with two of her sister ships, on 22 September 1914; 527 men of her complement died.

Thankyou, I love these old photos and still trying to work out the best way of keeping them, I'm gradually finding out more and more about the family but still lots to try and find too
