This is another picture from my evening at the lake - so much happened! This is another pair of geese at the opposite end of the lake. If you look close you can just make out the babies by the waiting mama goose. Papa goose is coming in from just having fought with and chased the other geese away! (the pretty serene ones I posted a couple of days ago). This was an amazing day!
This isn't the best quality pic, but every time I looked at it, I just loved the mama goose and her babies waiting for papa goose. My lens wasn't strong enough to get a good close up of the babies and after what papa goose just did to the other goose, I was not getting any closer :)
Tara, This is a great shot of the family together! and yes, I know what you mean about lens distance, as my point and shoot does not carry much power ....Wonderful composition and subject matter!!
I laughed so hard at your last comment about not getting any closer due to that daddy goose's aggressive behavior! Haha this is gorgeous with the mama, babies, the flowers, the reflections!, and then the daddy coming home to his family! Love it.
