Desperately trying to get a bird shot

Here we have a dove that had landed on my roof. He/she was nice enough to pose for quite some time for me. As you can see it was a beautiful day, too!

Nice find, and capture of this dove, i have always thought of doves as a special bird, as in the dove bearing an olive branch for peace, and the representation of a Dove as the Holy Spirit, in The Holy trinity

I love these doves. I am surprised you see just one...they usually hang in pairs. I love their soft elegant feathers but then their "popping out" eyes.
