4 Butterflies

This was SO cool. We driving along this dirt road and all of a sudden this 'rabble' of butterflies erupted. They were everywhere! My friends were so gracious to let me jump out of the car and get a bunch of shots. These are my first butterfly shots - how great is God to let me get not 1 but 4 in one shot? I believe that these are Yellow Swallowtails.

WOW! So cool! Lucky you. Mom and I learned on that trip to the Dismal Swamp that when you see butterflies gathered like this, they are having a sip of some moisture on the ground. "Watering hole" I guess! They are so pretty!

@espyetta That's what we figured. There was a fallen curled up leaf that they really liked and I guessed that there was water in it.
