My friend MaryBeth and I met up yesterday for photography club and dinner. We each took tons of shots of this dragonfly. When I cropped this one shot, it appeared like he was on his "hands and knees" looking for something.
Great shot, and caption, I see exactly what you see in this capture...sorry to be so remiss in my comments and reviews, but after having been in Arizona for some ten days now, was able to finally get Internet and t.v. Installed....guess I have a lot to catch up on, and have a lot to post in the next several weeks
Love the photo and the title!! And the details on this guy are beautiful. Great pov. Do you mean MaryBeth, my teacher "friend?" Love her and her photos ...bet that you two had fun doing these shots. P.S. If it's not that "MaryBeth," I'm sorry Tara. But she's a big "bug" enthusiast. LOL And makes me laugh all of the time. :) Plus she's "addicted" to fire trucks. :)
@karenann It's one in the same MB! We've been friends forever (about 25 years) We did have fun and she is a big 'bug' enthusiast. I'm usually the one commenting with eww or gross on her bug photos but am always impressed with her macros. Thanks for your comments. MB was helping me get my camera off of auto. These were taken in manual mode.
Awesome on going off auto! I know those green things aren't the eyes, but it sure looks like they are. Maybe they're special looking for things goggles.
He is looking for his contact of course! I got one similar to this Tara, at this angle...and his glowing bubbly green nose thing is so weird! haha Funny how they look so different at different angles.
@karenann Hey Karenann...yeah, I am so excited to have a friend here near me who is getting into the whole photography thing too! Tara and I met and became friends when we were about 22 or 23 I guess it was. We used to teach dance aerobics together, then we ran together...now we can shoot photos together! We can go to places to shoot that would not have been safe or nearly as fun alone. We'll have to start thinking of good places to go!
