I hate that I'm SO behind, so apologies for posting multiple shots of the same thing. This Red Spotted Purple trying to get water out of my driveway reminded me of this thirsty scripture as well as reminded me where I need to go to quench my thirst.
We are in the throws of a trial with our 10 year old. He is struggling in school as well as with his eyesight. I will be spotty at best for awhile and I appreciate your patience as mostly your photos that inspire me with their beauty and creativity; your comments which are so encouraging; and your friendship. This is a great community of people.
I LOVE this one on the concrete. He stands out so well, but I love that the background has a slight texture. And the verse really makes it. Frameable!!!
It's so tough to watch our children struggle- especially with school and things that are out of their control (like his eyes). The butterfly is a great symbol and the Scriptures are just great! I hope that there's some sort of resolve soon for you all and that you find the tools your son needs to work it all out. Said a prayer for you and keep us posted!
@tonyjsisti Thanks Tony! You are correct and that's what I'm leaning on. I can do all things through Him who give me strength. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.
Tara...so sorry! I did not know. I have been working from 7 AM to 6:30 or later at night. Then that hour ride home. And have been sick when I get home and go to bed. Sending good thoughts your way. I see you have posted since this one....and got that BUckeye on the PP. So yay for you! Just do what you can. I am frustrated too...I take pics and I want to post them, but no time, and then I forget wh ich ones were on laptop, or the IPAD< or the computer, and then I have to see what days dId not post and try to get them up here. Oh well. I love the project and photog. so don't want to worry over it and make it no fun. So I just do the best I can. I love this verse and how you used it with the pic. Very artsy!
@espyetta Thanks MB. Yes, it's for fun and enjoyment, so I'm not going to stress over it either. Just doing the best I can :) Update - Ryan is qualified for afterschool extended learning so that is great. I also have a conference set up with his teacher on Wednesday so I'm hoping he'll qualify for EIP, too. Sorry that you've been working hard and not feeling well. Sounds like we need another camera club meeting and Mexican dinner!
@tara11 Yep. We do! That was fun last time! Sounds like they are getting on the case with Ryan...so that is good. I feel for him in his struggle with school. :0( Hang in there!
Yes it is difficult seeing your child struggle, it will be all OK and will work out fine I'm sure!! I'm a really busy person to with work and trying to fit everything in and I have been finding that I have been putting up 3 or 4 photo's at a time as well which has been happening a lot lately!! It's all good though...at least I'm still taking photo's :-) This is another great shot well done :-)
I love this verse. I heard a great sermon on it this summer. I never knew before that Jesus made this statement in the middle of a festival where they were doing a choral response about... water. Pretty cool. Nice shot too! I hope all lgoes well with your son.
