On our way home today, we stopped in Otto, NC to visit my husband's parents. There, I was finally able to get a shot of this yellow butterfly. He wasn't any one place for long and this isn't the best, but I thought he was pretty on the purple flower. Anyway, I can now check this off my list :)
@rhoing Thanks Thom I believe that you are correct! I had one that was a little more clear but his proboscis was in the flower. I liked this one for that very reason, that we were able to see it in full. Thanks for your kind comments!
