This feeder is on my deck off of our sunroom. I decided to open one of the windows right next to the feeder and I was able to get some great close-ups of my little Nuthatches. They are so immune to me, I can stand out on the deck and they'll still come right up to the feeder. They're also pretty picky regarding the seed. All of the little round ones, they just stick their beak in and throw out until they find a sunflower or something. Funny little birds. They're so pretty just the same.
I see the same thing they don't mind if your there at all. I only buy the blackoil sunflower seed and peanut butter suet. The other smaller seed they will eat but only after the sunflower is gone. Nice shot!
