Dazed and confused

This little guy, a Dark-eyed Junco, apparently flew into our window off of the deck. I was in the other room when I heard the thump and knew immediately what it was. Fortunately, he wasn't seriously hurt and I was able to take advantage of his inability to move and take some pictures :)

I like this shot the best. Glad he was OK - the last bird to fly into our patio door was a big pigeon who apparently broke hiss neck - had to get Ray to lift him off the pot of pansies where he fell and he's buried in our garden.
