I've been dying to get to this pond by my house to take some pictures. I was out to dinner with MaryBeth (@espyetta) and we decided to go check it out after dinner. I was disappointed that there were no open blooms plus the pond was covered in trash. I was able to get a decent shot of a bud. I really liked how opaque the water looks in this shot (not that it was clear), but the time of day made it seem almost black. Good times.
Very pretty!!!! I love small "still" ponds... The one at Gainesville university has a high spray fountain that keeps the water moving... The pond is not very still and no lily pads. We need to find a pond! I want tadpoles too
