"End of the Line"...

these two old railway carriages sit beside the Hay railway station ..the railway no longer comes to Hay as all produce is delivered by road transport these days...these two pieces of rolling stock history are a reminder of how things were ....
Lovely capture, a real slice of history. I do somtimes wonder if progress is a good thing-the individuality of nations, areas and life being upgraded to faceless, functional sameness.

@teodw ..hi Terrie...yes the weather is looking good for the weekend...have you been up to Hay...its a great town and they provide a nice camping ground on the murrumbidgee..

There is so much beauty in the classic old coaches. Maybe the pace and style were not such a bad thing. Great snapshot.
