Got no idea what variety of climber this is but against that tropical sky it was bloomin' lovely!

It's an Alamanda; originally from South America, I think, but they're popular here, as you no doubt have noticed. Very nice shot. What mountain is that in the background?

@girlie thanks Robin. The mountain is Mt Stuart in Townsville. FNQ. Headed north for my nephew's 21st. Always great to go tropical :-)

@teodw Yes, they've had it worse than we have here, although the remnants of it are dumping on us as I speak. It's only a paradise when it's not raining up there!
