This swampy area I have photographed before but during the time I had no licence, I wasn't able to suck anybody into taking me here for the soul purpose of taking photos. Today, with a car load of grocery shopping, including stuff that needed to get into the freezer, I couldn't resist the urge to stop by and check it out. It has surprisingly started to dry up already with the water level noticeably lower to me. Today was a balmy 30degree day. I'm looking forward to a few more pleasant summer days. Makes me happy ;-)
Lovely shot Terrie - glad you got your licence back! Must make life so much easier to get out with the camera! Love the reflections and the white trees trunks - with the brooding sky behind!
