King parrots have come visiting our garden. Usually we have heaps of magpies, native mynas, butcher birds, galahs and cockies. It was wonderful to see this pair of colourful parrots feeding at one of our bird feeders. They are fairly timid and kept a close eye on me as I tried to get closer.
