I have been wanting to practise some portrait shots and a friend's daughter seemed game to be my model so we gave it a go. She really liked the moody, dark shots. I googled posing and tips on portraiture, so we managed to muddle our way through. Happy with the end results. Much room for improvement though. I would love some feedback, positive and negative. I'm a big girl. I can handle it. I want to enter one shot into our monthly camera club comp so let me know which one works for you :-)
its a lovely portrait. I wonder wether a bit of a reflective surface on her right side might have bounced a little more light there and evened out the lighting for you.
