I experimented more with lighting. I had a spotlight that was blocked except where it hit the shell indentation on the left hand side, then adjusted the flash and settings to get the effect I wanted.
Nice lighting! I need to start experimenting more with lighting in this fashion. Since I most often shoot with natural light, I am almost crippled when it comes to knowing how to set up good artificial lighting.
