Sorry for the break (if anyone was paying attention) I bought a house and moved, the computer broke and did not fare well on the long drive (needs a new de-lid seating, after the water block fasteners broke and had to be re-seated with some new thermal Grizzly)
Add to all this that I need to settle in and I have been slammed means I have been incommunicado for a few weeks.....on the bright side there are mountains, rivers, falls, turkey, elk and quail just waiting to fall into my viewfinder in my new drive range!
Glad to see you posting - sounds like it's been a wild time lately. Fascinated with this picture - your focus is marvelous. And am I looking at the Palouse as in Washington? Which is where I'm headed in 3 weeks. Stunning shot.
@milaniet it has been a wild ride. I was referring to the Palouse in wa.... This is just outside it in Idaho. It's sad how the whole area is a monoculture now.
