Scene from the neighborhood

Another shot from my photo walk yesterday. Sunny skies, warm mild weather, had to get out there! This Totem is from the S'Kallam Tribe that has called this area home since before our time. There are so many around, they all tell a story, and the figures and colors are just wonderful. This is in front of the city hall.

Beautiful totem. Is this in Washington? I ask because that is the only place I have seen totems in large numbers.

@shutterbug49 Yes, I live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The are several tribes here and are all so proud of their heritage, their art work is so beautiful and unique.
