This unique landscape was formed millions of years ago when giant glacier lakes broke their icy dams and filled this area with rich silt and contours. This one of the most prolific agricultural areas in the Northwest, producing wheat, barley, canola and legumes. A must photo in all PNW Photographer's portfolios.
