To get a good entry for the "Long Exposure" theme competition, I set up my tripod in the passenger seat of my 4Runner aimed straight ahead. I set my camera's aperture to f22 and put my polarizer on the lens (I don't have an ND filter for this lens). This gave me fairly long exposures for my drive from Chesterfield to Virginia Beach. I used my remote to just fire away at random points during the trip. Other than knowing that the 4Runner's windshield wipers and dark grey hood would be at the bottom of the frame, I had absolutely no idea what would be produced.
This shot is from the cloverleaf interchange from US 460 to US 58.
@jon_lip@serendypyty@transatlantic99 Thanks! I loved this one as soon as I saw it. But I took just shy of 900 pictures during my 2 1/2 hour drive...one of them had to come out.
