The Missus and I were at Virginia Beach Airport, checking out the sights when there was the roar of two radial engines on a take off run. I managed to get several frames of this Twin Beech (Model 18). This one was the most interesting. It really looks like I Photoshopped the plane into the frame, but I didn't (and getting this naturally was much easier than doing layers and blending, etc.
@jon_lip I use aperture mode as my default setting. I keep the aperture wide open so the camera gives me the fastest shutter possible. That allows me to get good wildlife shots when the critters surprise me (or I them), and good airplane shots when I'm not really ready.
