I cruised past a small pond and spotted a couple of ducks on and near the shore. I pulled over to get a picture and they immediately all went into the water and started paddling away.
I managed to get this shot in which the ducks have conveniently for identification purposes, segregated themselves by species. The five at the top of the picture are mallards while the five at the bottom are ring-necked ducks.
