I have tried for 3 days straight to get my daughter's 18 month pictures taken. Day one was a perfect storm for terrible outdoor portrait photography - sunny, windy, and cold. Day 2 was an indoor attempt and another lesson on how you can not expect an 18 month old to pose (above was the best I could get). Day three was pouring rain for our outdoor shoot. I don't think this was meant to be!
Somedays are like that I guess, and they might all come in a row! Winter does make portraiture challenging too! It's still a gorgeous photo of her, even if it's not quite what you are after.
