"P" is for President

Each week, I determine a lesson plan for my kids (mostly for my 3 year old, but my 18 month old participates when she can). I determine a theme and incorporate it throughout the week. This week was Presidents since Monday was President's Day in the U.S. Every day we do a craft/art project and a learning activity and we sprinkle in science and nature throughout the week as well. We watched an educational video, colored pictures of famous past presidents, made Abe Lincoln's log cabin and famous hat, did a coin sort (which was also a great math lesson) and did a penny craft to learn about the letter "P". I love that by the end of the week, he gets so excited about the subject. He really wants to visit Washington D.C., go to the White House, and fully expects to meet the president :)
Oh this is so cool, fun and creative-- just Ppppperfect !!

@kiwichick Never, ever feel that way! I just wanted to do some things for him since he is not starting Preschool until the fall and it seems like all the other kids his age are in Preschool now :)
