I had both kids out today helping to shovel since school was cancelled, but it still felt like the never ending project. School is out tomorrow too. It snowed all last night, throughout the entire day today, and is expected up until early morning tomorrow. We already broke the record for amount of snow in one day, and it's still going strong as I type this. Not to mention how much has accumulated over the last month without melting. I am not usually one to complain about snow since I grew up in Iowa where this stuff is the norm, but when you live somewhere that is not equipped to handle it, it sure makes a big difference.
It's nice to have helpers! My boys like to shovel too, when they have nothing better to do at least. I'm curious as to what your record snowfall in a day was?
@kiwichick The old record was 13 inches (I know, it isn't much...but our city has no way of handling it since it is not typical so the roads are a mess!). We hit 14 inches earlier this evening and it is falling harder than ever now.
