Connect Four is becoming the game of summer...it is played several times every day so far.
It was interesting to see how creative they could be with their play today. I was unable to do much because I hurt myself yesterday, so they were pretty much on their own while I rested (or tried to...it's hard for me to do nothing when there is so much I need to do). They did well keeping themselves occupied with little prompting, which was a relief. They played games, did art projects, played with sensory bins and toy animals, hide and seek, and played outside while I got the rest I needed.
