My daughter and I made our first gingerbread house from scratch today and had some leftover dough to make some cookies as well. We will decorate another day. It was a cold, rainy, windy day so I was not jealous of the boys whom took the dog to the beach. They returned with hot chocolate for us all, which was a nice end to the morning. We ended the day with a Christmas movie and some nog.
