She hasn't let this harbor seal stuffy (she named "Spot") out of her sight since she got it last weekend with her own money. She also has her cast off now, and using a brace to help support her broken ankle.
I have been so focused and disappointed by how dark my new house is that I forgot to look for the spots of light it DOES have. I kept trying to get shots I used to get in the old house, and it just doesn't work here...and that's okay. I suppose it also helped that the sun was out today. And we took full advantage of it...took the dog to the dog park, played basketball and rode scooters at the school, and took a walk with a friend.
