While in southern California for spring break, we took a day trip to Catalina Island. There is a ferry that takes you from Long Beach to Avalon (the largest town on Catalina Island). I get motion sick and so does my daughter, so it was a pretty miserable hour plus ride in the cold rain, but coming in to this view made it totally worth it! We rented a golf cart to cruise around the island, and had a good time shopping, eating, and just taking in the beauty.
This is gorgeous! And how cool that you made the time to get out there! I lived in OC and LA for about 15 years as an adult and never once made it out there.
@careymartin Thanks! My brother in law has lived in LA for over a decade and hasn't made it there either...until he came with us! I actually have heard that a lot. My husband just really wanted to go, so we did. It was beautiful!
