I keep going back to the turtle sanctuary in French Regional Park, hoping to see the hatch.
The other day I was told they are softshell turtles and that the hatches occur early in the morning.
Then they head immediately to the water. 8 cages have been removed still about 20 protective cages. I have never seen a softshell turtle so I guess I will take my camera, music and chair. Sit, smile, wait and hope.
