Catching the Light

Not feeling it today; always a little depressed after Christmas! Always expected magic! The way the ice in this undercut rock catches light and it's layers seemed just the right magical tonic. This is our cove on the North Shore of Lake Superior and the waves are sounding their drum song and undercutting the rock ledges making the cove larger and very dramatic and beautiful. taken 12/13/2013. On reflection I guess the love expressed on Christmas is the true magic! That thought makes me smile!
