Sunflower Pearls by tosee

Sunflower Pearls

I noticed these tiny little sparkles in the center of a cut sunflower that we put into a vase filled with water.
I believe the pearl drops of water were formed by water moving up the stem and unto the surface of the flower due to "osmotic potential and hydrostatic pressure" or whatever. First time I have seen these very tiny water pearls.
Oooh this is great. Fave for me.
