This was a trip down memory lane, for my boys and I, used to stop here on the way to Lake Pepin to get the biggest darn cinnamon role west of the Mississippi. The paint might be peeling but the staff is friendly, the food is no nonsense Midwestern fare at a reasonable price. And it has local color. Oppps no credit cards accepted; only cash or checks. Luckily Pam had checks!
