Garden Catmint in the Morning Light by tosee

Garden Catmint in the Morning Light

Went out this morning to catch the selective aspect of the low angle of the early morning light.
The light was falling on some of the catmint in the foreground but had not reached the catmint in the background. Used a 400 mm lens to isolate the catmint which was in the early morning light.
This caught my eye! Very nice! Love colours.

This has kind of a surreal look to it. Love the deep shadow, focal flower, and deep greens and blues. Something to look at for awhile. Fav

Interesting shot. At first I thought it was a shadow on the background, but the more I look at it, I realize what you had written. It's another stalk not lit up.

You have made that Catmint so delicious looking.
Would be a shame to eat it.

The light is terrific, and the one in the background is almost like a reflection.
