I did not think I would be posting a bee on a flower, but this one I could not resist. First time I
have seen a bee's tongue working on a flower.
I believe the bees must sleep on the flowers at night for in the morning they are just sitting on the flower. This one had just started to move so I moved around to get a frontal shot with the morning sun in back and to the right of the bee. Then all at once the tongue flashed in the light, managed to get two photos of the tongue. Wanted to share it with you!
