The storm came..hail in the desert?! On the trail Pam said, " do you hear that?" "What" I said.She said "thunder, and lighting", I said, "don't worry, it is far off" As luck would have it Pam insisted that we move and get to the car. Once again she was right..bang, ping, ping, bang on the car..several inches on the road, ice slippery, still pockets the next day. Rangers said had not experienced that before...In the desert .
